VIPS:
Broughton House by Sally Eastgate, General Manager at NTS
Claymoddie Garden and Nursery by Robin Nicolson, owner

Broughton House:
Broughton House is a little known treasure of a fine town house and garden nestling on the banks of the River Dee in Kirkcudbright, D&G and the home of artist EA Hornel.
Behind the pink limewashed walls a delightfully uplifting collection of art, ceramics, furniture and literature together with a magically secret garden lie hidden. It was also the recipient of a 2006 RICS conservation award following a two-year conservation project. Sally Eastgate, the GM is delighted to share her experience of running a NT property and tourist attraction. (www.nts.org.uk)

Claymoddie Garden & Nursery:
Robin Nicholson, a farmer by inheritance but a gardener by passion, has transformed "his situation with potential" into a beautiful seaside garden with a nursery.  Apart from creating an exquisite garden the Nicholsons specialist nursery, Galloway Plants has attracted orders from other famous gardens like Bodnant in North Wales and nurseries such as Burncoose & Southdown in Cornwall. Robin is delighted to take part in an interview with Thrive on the business of gardening. (www.gallowayplants.co.uk)
